Oops. Club plans tonight did not quite follow through (it doesn't help when no one answers your text messages!) but as I am more in the mood to sleep than stay out drinking until 2am while wearing a full costume and a scratchy wig, I can't say I'm all that disappointed :P

Today at work was great: there were costumes, tons of free food, cake, pictures being taken, and lots of compliments on my outfit. I seriously think Helen showing up as Barbie trumped everything, and since it was my suggestion as a costume I like to take some credit for its success. But I do think mine was pretty cool too. Pictures forthcoming whenever I manage to wrangle them out of the various co-workers that took them.

Now if only this was a three day weekend. I think I got horribly spoiled by being on vacation all of last week. But at least we get an extra hour, right? That counts for something!

Trip recounting and pictures going up this weekend when I finally have the free time to do so. All I can say for now is -- NYC was awesome, Jamie has my utter and complete love for life, and I already miss my mom and want to do it again.

Oh and the kitten is driving me insane. Anyone want to take him off my hands?
